Blender-Poser Art

One of those Questions

So, what exactly is it I’m wanting to do? And is it even do-able?

In the realm of Poser, when you log on the major vendors, fashion for women is pretty… ordinary, for the most part. The focus appears to be to dress women purely for sex appeal. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s a bit like making a cake with only one ingredient: sugar. I love sugar, but I also love other flavours and textures as well.

We’ve got this great tool in Poser: it allows us to make mesh that is to act as cloth do things like real cloth does. That is such a massive great thing. It just boggles the mind: there’s so much we could do with this.

So, I will. I’ve made a set of scrubs so far:

I know: way too much makeup. I was turning off Renderer GC in Poser Pro 2010, and suddenly my mask-based make-up all started to show up. I’d turned the values right up… now, the poor girl looks like a night on the town.

but anyway, a first attempt. Actually, before that, there was a corset. Maybe I’ll load pictures about it… maybe not.

Maybe I’ll try to bring all those pages back from the old database about shaders. Maybe not. Depends, I guess.
